Uratty

Uratty (ウラチィ) is one of the crew members of the NefeloMakion. He is Playable Character 6 (PC6) in the Hajimari no Kioku game. He is 16 years old during the events of the game. His crew position the only one that is a secret in the released character profiles. It is listed as ??? Officer (??? 担当). His role is listed as ???.

His short profile states that he finds things troublesome. Uratty is someone who usually can't be bothered. He's always holed up in his room playing games. He's a gamer. What could he be in charge of…^[1].

Uratty is from the Other Dimension, but has a counterpart STAR AnimaL in this dimension. As stated in the events of Twin Crew Stars, the animal Uratty in this dimension has the memories and abilities of the humanoid Uratty from the other dimension due to a special inter-dimensional communication mechanism.

• A gamer that excels in various game genres.
• He's so good that he has the ability to win if a gaming tournament is held that's open to every planet in the solar system.
• Rarely seen around the ship. Pretty much always just gaming in his room.
• The rest of the crew thinks of him as just a hikikomori / shut-in.
• Sometimes plays games with Astel, but Astel is no match for him. So, once every 100 games, Uratty takes it easy on Astel and loses to him on purpose.
• The only one on the ship he has opened his heart to is Astel.
• Has a kind heart.

Basic Information

Uratty in this dimension comes in the form of a white snow leopard-like animal. He was retrieved from the planet Uranus. He likes peaches. His hobby is also marked as ???. His hex color code is #BCFAFF. He was found on Uranus by Apolleon, Pollneu, and Arecos. He is the sixth of the NefeloMakion crew counterpart animals to join Astel in this dimension.

Personality

Uratty is very shy^[4]. He doesn't really communicate with others. He isn't good at dealing with viewers or too much attention. It's not because Uratty likes or hates others. He just has no interest. But he is kind. ^[5]. When performing in 3D, he doesn't move much, simply standing there and blinking sleepily^[6].

Recruitment

On November 10, 2022, Apolleon mentions that there “isn't much time left.” As such, the STAR AnimaLs that were already with Astel at that time end up splitting into two groups to continue investigating. One group goes to Uranus and the other group goes to Neptune^[7]. Phruity, Merck, and Juke go to Neptune in order to retrieve Stridon. Apolleon, Pollneu, and Arecos, on the other hand, go to Uranus to retrieve Uratty^[8].

On November 24, 2022, Apolleon's group returns first with Uratty. Uratty is revealed during a singing stream, during the song アカシア (Acacia) / BUMP OF CHICKEN^[9]. At the end of this stream, Astel mentions that he's experiencing connection problems. This is the first mention of this issue, with Astel typing the following in chat:

The connection issues later persist until Stridon returns with Phruity, Merck, and Juke on December 1, 2022^[10].

Post-Recruitment

At the end of a singing stream on December 4, 2022, Astel is overheard having a moment with Merck, Uratty, and Pollneu. Uratty is told to enjoy playing games while he can, as he won't be able to play for some time once their plans start^[11].

Twin Crew Stars to Present

Uratty in 3D during Twin Crew Stars

The day before Twin Crew Stars, a teaser video describes Astel and the STAR AnimaLs as “a certain team, striving and striving for a change in their destiny.”^[12]

During the events of Twin Crew Stars on December 7, 2022, Uratty goes with the other STAR AnimaLs and Astel to confront [The One Who Rules The Universe] Astel. Their departure is shown both in the Namae wo Yobu yo cover and in Twin Crew Stars itself.

In a flashback, Astel assigned specific tasks to the animals in the upcoming battle. When it came to Uratty, however, Astel opted not to give directions, saying that Uratty could act according to his own judgment. On the space train as they travel to the battlefield, Uratty sits across from a close-eyed Apolleon.

During the actual battle, Uratty's judgment seems to lead him to stay near Apolleon. Uratty is beside Stridon and both are close to Apolleon's position when the latter is downed by the enemy.

After their victory, his 3D is revealed during the song ピノとアメリ (Pino to Ameri) / 石崎ひゅーい. His partner in this reveal is Pollneu. After the song, Uratty stands there staring at Astel, causing Astel to laugh and ask if he's sleepy. Eventually, Uratty is convinced to turn around and show his tail to the viewers. He also waves once before blinking slowly and looking back at Astel as if asking if he can go home and sleep / game already.

Currently, he resides in Astel's house^[13].

Humanoid

• 「星に集う、船員たちの思惑 -始まりの記憶-」(Hoshi ni tsudou, sen'in-tachi no omowaku - Hajimari no Kioku -) - Uratty is Playable Character 6 (PC6) in this game. He is one of the crew members attempting to solve the mystery. These events are set before Astel's debut in 2019.
• Twin Crew Stars - Uratty makes an appearance in this stream along with the rest of the named NefeloMakion crew. As one of the silhouettes in the crew sequence, he is the sixth to speak. His comment to Astel is about gaming instead of the situation they're in, going “Eh? Ahh… have you gotten better at gaming?”

Animal

• 名前を呼ぶよ (Namae wo Yobu yo) - Uratty appears in the room with a couch. He is with Stridon and Knoll in the animals-only scenes. In group scenes, his position varies. This song cover is when they depart for the battle in Twin Crew Stars.
• Twin Crew Stars - Uratty participates in the planning session with Astel and is told that he can use his own judgment in the upcoming battle. He fights alongside the STAR AnimaLs, confronting the army of [The One Who Rules The Universe] Astel. During the song performance section after their victory, he appears with Pollneu for the performance of ピノとアメリ (Pino to Ameri) / 石崎ひゅーい.

Uratty in the Last Supper

• Astel credits Uratty with training his game sense and helping him get better at gaming. He thought he was bad at games because he always lost to Uratty, but after coming to earth, he realized he's actually good and Uratty is just on a different level ^[14].
• Uratty is a little scared of Knoll^[15].
• Uratty would really hate being called “Uratty-chan”^[16].
• If someone confesses their love to Uratty, he would most likely just stare at them with cold eyes^[17].
• Uratty's difficulty level in the Hajimari no Kioku game is “Hard.” He shares this difficulty level with Merck and Arecos, technically making them the easiest difficulty in the game, as all other characters are marked as harder to play than them^[18].
• Uratty's crew title / emblem pin is located on his collar. It resembles a snow leopard, akin to his animal counterpart^[19].
• In both animal and humanoid form, the crew addresses Astel in the same way. Uratty appears to speak directly to Astel, not using his name or title^[20][21].
